Amelia Cotton Batik Wrap Skirt

Cotton batik wrap skirt. Pretty and practical! Half-circle flair means freedom of movement with plenty of coverage for active ladies. Ties securely at natural waist.

I fell in love with this charming style while working mostly outdoors as a rural nanny. We were running, climbing, and swimming. It was so nice wearing outfits that felt pretty and feminine without being restrictive.

It's easy to put on. For example, I wear it like this: with the skirt centered behind and at natural waist (this is important) wrap one side forward and across the front, then wrap the other side forward and across the front. Take both ends to the back and tie like an apron. Done! There are two breezy, well overlapping layers across the front. Go climb trees and ride your bike :) then splash in a creek and hike through the woods to pick apples which you can carry gathered in the generous front edge of your wrap skirt!

These are 100% cotton fabric. The thread may be cotton or polyester (whatever matches best). Wash with like colors in cool to warm water as needed. Dark colors may fade over time with lots of warm washing. Tumble dry and remove promptly or line dry.

One size - approximately ladies 4-10 or XS-L. Waistband/Tie is 80" and skirt panel is 54".

Length - is slightly variable depending on the material. These batik skirts are generally about 27" long, sitting at the natural waist and ending below the knee for average height ladies.
